Now we have all the information we need to create the postcards and send them to our printer, but first all 2500 postcards need to be rendered utilizing dynamic fields that Jimmy has chosen:
BOOM! Jimmy can now take calls to schedule jobs rather than calls to quote jobs. AND he’s weeding out homes that he doesn’t want to wash (less than 2000 sq. ft., worth less than $150k, renters, etc.). We’ve saved Jimmy tons of time and helped him use his advertising spend more effectively.
Now back to the rendering. We render all 2500 postcards front and back; then send them to one of our trusted CASS Certified printer’s in our network to verify all addresses through the USPS address verification system. They print, cut, address and mail the postcards.
What does this cost? Well Jimmy is sending 10,000 postcards per month so he’s on our Enterprise level plan at $.49 per postcard, so $4900. Also, on the Enterprise plan, Jimmy gets a 1 business day turnaround, so they are mailed on Monday and will deliver that week due to them being sent First Class Mail.
We should also mention that another advantage of First Class Mail is that any undeliverable postcards are “returned to sender”, which is us! Every customer gets a PO Box and we manually track the returns, provide a monthly deliverability report and issue a full credit for those returns! We don’t want our customers paying for postcards that never make it to their intended target. Luckily for us our deliverability rate is over 99.8% since we utilize top tier data companies and CASS Certified printers.
